Motherboard and VigiTrust organise Data Security Seminar

Under the auspices of the Ireland
France Chamber of Commerce's 'Business Club', Motherboard
and VigiTrust organised a seminar on 'Data Protection
on premises and in the Cloud - Everybody's Business'.
The evening was sponsored by Sophos and Renaissance
- two major players in the provision of IT security software.
Keynote speakers were Billy Hawkes (Irish
Data Protection Commissioner) and James Lyne
(Senior Technologist with Sophos) more

Motherboard
installs 1,000th copy of Windows 7
1st July 2011
Motherboard passed a major milestone with its 1,000th
customer installation of the new Microsoft Windows
7 PC operating system last week. This operating system
is a worthy successor to Windows XP, the system that has remained
in use by many companies since its launch in August 2001.

upgrades Wellwoman Centres infrastructure

Motherboard is in the process of completing an extensive
upgrade of the IT infrastructure of The Well
Woman Centre - the leading provider of women's health
services in Dublin.
The work involves upgrading
servers and all workstations in their 3 centers and
head office, and includes the installation of a Wide
Area Network linking all the centres together in their own
network.
